This beverage is one way to detoxify your body from a day of hard work, the Sharp taste of ginger, and then the refreshing sweet taste of the carrots and honey with the tanginess of tangelo makes for a great combo! Try this one out. It’s a MUST TRY!
Yields: Makes 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 3 Carrots, Peeled
- 2 Tangelos, peeled
- 2 tbsp. Ginger, peeled and grated
- ½ cup Water
- 2 tbsp. Honey (to taste)
Method of Preparation:
1. Squeeze the juice of two tangelos into a bowl.
2. In a blender throw in the carrots, the juice of two tangelos and the ginger and water as well.
3. Blend until it’s smooth. Add in the honey if you think that the juice is not sweet enough.
4. Serve in a cup with ice cubes.
