Cute Miniature Crocheted Animals by Su Ami

A family-run crocheting manufacture from Vietnam proves that size doesn’t matter! Their miniature crocheted animals are so small that they fit on a finger tip, and some of them hardly reach 1/4 of an inch. The idea for the business was inspired by the youngest (10-year-old) member of the family, who’s greatly fond of various movie characters and loves animals. Her nickname even ended up being the name of the company. A five-member company uses different crocheting techniques in their work and always goes for nice and bright colors. The miniature animals are so detailed that every member of the tiny penguin family wears a differently colored scarf, the whale actually spits water out of its back and the birds even lay teeny tiny eggs.

Floating Wooden Exbury Egg House

The association of SPUD Group, PAD Studio and Stephen Turner developed the project of a floating wooden house Exbury Egg. The tiny home offers the space designed to be a temporary laboratory. There is only the minimum necessary: a shower, a stove, a seat, small storage systems and a hammock bed. The Exbury Egg uses only the sun as a source of energy. The nice wooden color creates an atmosphere of relaxation and harmony with nature. The form of the house attracts attention, and, at the same time, it is perfectly adapted to the natural landscape of the riverbanks.

Horizontal Waterfalls in Australia

Horizontal Waterfalls in Australia

Horizontal Waterfalls in Australia
It is strange to hear this combination of words. However, it is a fact. In the Australian Talbot Bay are several unusual waterfalls that appear only at high tide, which makes the definition of waterfall controversial.
The maximum difference between the highest and the lowest point of the falls is only about five meters. In the same time, the width of the gorges through which rushes the water is in one case about 10 meters and in other about 20 meters. The two waterfalls are the connecting openings between the Talbot Bay and the Poulton Creek. The gorges are located on the McLarty Range on a distance of about 300 meters from each other.

Floating Hotels in Qatar

If there’s an intractable urban problem, whether involving housing thousands of people or preparing for an attention-grabbing event, there is always a one-step solution: Make it float!
This is Qatar’s plan, at least, for the 2022 World Cup. Faced with mounting criticism of its preparations for the event, and worries that it will not be able to manage hosting the thousands of attendees, the Gulf state has decided to look into several floating hotels that together would be capable of handling upwards of 25,000 people.

Indian rupee trimmed its early losses but was still quoted lower by 83 paise to 59.53 per dollar after hitting 60-level on strong demand for US dollars from banks and importers amidst sharp fall in equity market.

Persistent capital outflows from foreign funds also affected the market sentiment.

In New York, the US dollar surged yesterday after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said the central bank could slow the pace of its bond-buying programme later this year if its economic forecasts are accurate.

Humans may be able to upload their brains to computers by 2045

Humans may be able to upload their brains to computers by 2045

Humans may be able to upload their brains to computers by as early as 2045, some futurists believe.

This notion formed the basis for the Global Future 2045 International Congress, a futuristic conference held in New York, last week.

The conference, which is the brainchild of Russian multimillionaire Dmitry Itskov, featured Ray Kurzweil – an inventor, futurist and now director of engineering at Google - who predicted that by 2045, technology will have surpassed human brainpower to create a kind of superintelligence an event known as the singularity.

Other scientists have said that robots will overtake humans by 2100, 'LiveScience' reported. According to Moore's law, computing power doubles approximately every two years. Several technologies are undergoing similar exponential advances, from genetic sequencing to 3D printing, Kurzweil told conference attendees.

The First Ever Pregnant Guy Gives Birth to a Child

Thomas became world-famous after the media showed the pictures of the first ever documented pregnant transgender man.

Thomas and his wife Nancy try to be an ordinary family, but the society strongly disapproves them. Almost every day the man gets threats, some even against his life, and people on the streets often call him a freak.

All the relatives broke off their relations with Thomas as they consider him an unworthy person.

His mother committed suicide when he was 12 and his father was never close to him. Thomas was born as a girl named Tracy but being a child he always acted as a mischievous boy.

At the age of 20 the young man decided that he was trapped inside a woman’s body and when he was 24 he started to take male hormones. That was the first step to the sex change.

When Thomas met his wife she already had two kids, but once they decided to have the third one, it was the man who needed the sperm donor since Nancy was no longer able to bear children.
