This smoothie is a good detox to any harsh day. The spice from the ginger and the sweet freshness from the apple give this astonishing taste in your mouth.
Yields: Makes 4 Servings
Ingredients:
- 2 Carrots, chopped and peeled
- 1 Apple, cored and chopped *frozen
- 1 cup Baby spinach
- 1 tbsp. Ginger, peeled and finely grated
- 8 oz. Water
Method of Preparation:
1. In a pan with water. Throw in the carrots and cook them until they are soft. Add more water until they are cooked. Take out the carrots and don’t throw the water used to boil the carrots. Allow it to cool.
2. In a blender, throw in the water. And the rest of the ingredients. Blend until your desired consistency. Serve!
