Thalaivaa is an original story, AL Vijay
After facing hurdles and many legal hassles, film Thalaivaa has finally hit the screens in Tamil Nadu. Just before two days of releasing date, movie was into controversy, but the film makers have cleared that the script is original and not based on any living person or life.
Chennai Civil Court sent a legal notice to director AL Vijay and producer Chandraprakash Jain on 7th August. SKR Karnan, the petitioner claimed about the film that it is depicted his grandfather and father in the bad light. But, the director AL Vijay sticks to his point that the movie script is original and it is not based on any living person or his life.
“All the incidents and scenes mentioned by Karnan in the application are completely paradoxical to our storyline, dialogues, characters and other incidents in the movie,” says director.
He further added that “it's purely imaginary and fictitious work and did not depict any person's life. More than half story has been shot in Australia and that so irrelevant with applicant's father and grandfather. There is no resemblance to any life and it's purely fiction. However, the City Civil Court has reserved all orders for this case.
