The Kelpies — Sculpted by Andy Scott

The Kelpies tower a colossal 30 metres above the Forth & Clyde canal and form a dramatic gateway to the canal entrance on the East Coast of Scotland. Sculpted by Andy Scott, The Kelpies are a monument to horse powered heritage across Central Scotland. Summer 2013 saw The Kelpies begin to take shape at The Helix. Rising out of the ground in a feat of remarkable engineering ingenuity, The Kelpies construction has been a stunning process to observe.

From week to week progress has been amazing, and we have been tracking, capturing and sharing that progress with you on our social media networks and here on the Helix Website. Follow their progress as this stunning artwork settles into it's new home.
